Why should I go to therapy?

A woman's reflection

You've been feeling overwhelmed for a while. Perhaps, your anxiety and low mood started to affect the quality of your life. Sometimes you wonder for how long you can keep going this way.

You tried to read self-help books, talk to your wise friends, and maybe do some yoga. You still feel alone and feel like no one understands you.

You want to feel heard, understood, and comforted.

You want to calm your racing heart, clear the fog in your mind, and feel happy again.

"Noha has a gift when it comes to connecting with her clients. I have had many sessions with her and soon I started seeing many issues that I was not conscious about. After a few sessions, I definitely feel more aware of what's going on internally. This awareness is the fundamental step towards a resolution. I have had sessions with many other counselors but none of them could deliver the awareness and the results Noha could provide. Thank you so much, Noha!"

"Noha was so professional and also inviting. She has a warm presence that is comforting to open up and share. I was able to share things I've never shared with anyone in our first session. I feel a gigantic weight lifted off my heart. She is a treasure."

Achieve Your Goals

It’s time to take control of your life, so you can become the best version of you…

You need a trained, professional mental health counselor, also known as a therapist, to guide you through your journey to a fulfilling life.

What is it like to work together in therapy?

My approach to therapy

I am a trauma-informed therapist with an interactive and holistic approach.

Therapy, thanks to Hollywood, has this reputation that you go to the therapist’s office, lay on the couch, talk, and your therapist only listens. While this is one form of therapy, there are many other forms.

When you work with me, you will get to talk, but you will also get to learn many tools to help you improve your symptoms. Depending on the problem we are working on, I might introduce you to mindfulness techniques or teach you interpersonal communication skills.

How much would it cost?

$170 for a typical 50-minute session. I accept some insurance including Aetna and United Healthcare. You will probably start seeing results after the second session. Depending on the problem and your level of commitment, you should start seeing significant improvement between the fourth and the sixth session.

"Noha is the best mental health trainer in Houston because she is different from others. Actually, my life changed. When I spoke to her, she listens to you carefully with care and focus. She gives you mental exercises that you do every week. Actually it will change for the best. I advise everyone if you have a mental health problem to contact her."
